World Cup Supporter Tier FAQ

1. What is the ‘Supporter Entry Tier’?

On December 16, 2025, FIFA announced a new “Supporter Entry Tier” which gives supporters of qualified nations a chance to purchase a small number of discounted tickets for each match at FIFA World Cup 26™, including Canada’s 3 group stage matches.

2. Who will have access to these tickets?

Per FIFA, the selection and distribution process for these tickets are managed individually by the Participating Member Associations (PMAs). Each PMA will define its own eligibility criteria and application process. They are requested to ensure that these tickets are specifically allocated to loyal fans who are closely connected to their national teams.

Canada Soccer has decided to offer their allocation of Supporter Entry Tier tickets to members of the Voyageurs who are also CanadaRED members exclusively.

3. How much do Supporter Entry Tier tickets cost?

A single Supporter Entry Tier ticket will cost $88 CAD, including all fees and taxes.

4. Where are the tickets located in the stadiums?

Supporter Entry Tier tickets will be Category 4 tickets and further from the pitch than Category 3 tickets. Refer to FIFA’s stadium maps for both Toronto and Vancouver to see where these will be located.

5. How will tickets be allocated to members of the Voyageurs?

Because there are more Voyageurs members than tickets available, a random draw will be conducted for each of Canada’s three group stage matches. Members who are selected will receive the right to purchase one Supporter Entry Tier ticket for one Canada group stage match.

6. When is the draw?

The random draw will be conducted on January 5, 2026.

7. Which Voyageurs members are eligible to enter the draw?

Only Voyageurs members with a current paid membership AND who were registered in the CanadaRED program by December 14, 2025 will be eligible to enter the draw.

The Voyageurs Board of Directors are not eligible to enter the draw.

8. I am eligible. How do I enter the draw?

Before the draw and before 7 pm ET/4 pm PT January 4, 2026, each eligible member will be asked to select the game(s) for which they wish to purchase a Supporter Entry Tier ticket.

This selection will be made in your Voyageurs members profile on www.thevoyageurs.com website.

Look for the “WC SUPPORTER ENTRY TIER TICKETS” section in your profile. Then using the drop-down menus, choose the game or games you would like to attend. You will then be entered into the draw for those game(s) selected.

Ensure you hit “SAVE” at the bottom of your profile page after making your selections.

It is crucial that your contact information is correct or your ticket will not appear in May/June.

9. How do I know if I have been selected in the random draw?

Successful members will be contacted, by email, no later than the end of day January 6, 2026.  Only successful right to buy winners will be contacted.

10. I have been selected. How many tickets can I buy?

Successful members will receive the right to purchase a single ticket for one Canada group stage match.

Once a member is drawn for a particular Canada group stage match, they will no longer be eligible to be drawn for any other Canada group stage match through the Voyageur’s internal process for PMA Supporter Entry Tier tickets.

In addition, if a member is selected for a match and purchases a Supporter Entry Tier ticket, they will also no longer be eligible for the main PMA supporter ticket lottery operated through the Canada Soccer CanadaRED program for that match.

Limiting members to one ticket for one match will maximize the opportunities to allow our loyal Voyageurs national team supporters to experience a home FIFA World Cup match at a reasonable price

11. I have been selected. When do I have to pay?

Successful members must pay the $88 ticket price by 9 pm ET/6 pm PT on January 8, 2026 or their right to buy will be removed.  Match tickets will be issued as mobile tickets closer to the date of the match.

12. I am a long-standing Voyageur member. Does seniority factor into the draw?

Due to having used multiple web platforms over the years, we could not accurately track the seniority of paid members.

A random draw is the most fair and equitable way to distribute tickets to members.
